What is AWeber MCP (Model Context Protocol)? +
MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely use another product’s tools. AWeber MCP is AWeber’s official MCP server, launched December 2025. It’s what lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Claude Code read your AWeber data and take the actions you approve.
How do I connect ChatGPT to the AWeber MCP? +
Search “AWeber” in ChatGPT or open the AWeber app in the ChatGPT App Directory, click Connect, and sign in to AWeber. It works on every ChatGPT plan, including Free, with no developer mode required.
How do I connect Claude to the AWeber MCP? +
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, search “AWeber” and click Connect, or open claude.ai/directory/aweber. Sign in to AWeber to approve access.
What data can the AWeber MCP access? +
Your lists, subscribers and their activity, tags and custom fields, broadcasts and their performance stats, Workflows and per-message stats, and signup forms. It can add, update, tag and move subscribers and create broadcast drafts. The full tool list is public in AWeber’s docs.
Is the AWeber MCP secure? +
Yes. You connect through AWeber’s OAuth login, the assistant can only use the actions the server exposes, and you can revoke access at any time from AWeber, ChatGPT or Claude. Drafts are saved for you to review before anything sends.
