About AWeber

AWeber is an email marketing platform that allows 100,000+ small businesses and entrepreneurs to create and send emails people love <3.

And by sending emails people love, they're empowered to connect with customers in ways that grow their business.

From the moment our CEO Tom Kulzer founded AWeber back in 1998, that's been our primary mission. Since then, AWeber has grown into a team focused on helping customers achieve success with email – whether we're building AWesome tools and features or providing live support and education.

To help us do so, there are six core values that have become the foundation of everything we do:

Our Core Values

1 | Create remarkable experiences.

Anyone can say they’re remarkable. But how many companies will, say, knock your socks off with awesome email marketing... and then send you a new pair of socks in the mail? (No seriously, we occasionally send socks and other goodies to our customers!)

That’s the kind of thing AWeber does. We love creating experiences customers will love – and we do that by providing a live customer solutions team that’s available 7 days a week, sharing hundreds of educational resources to help you with your email strategy, and building a platform that’s easy and enjoyable to use.

2 | Execute with passion.

There’s a lot that goes into creating remarkable experiences. In addition to having a talented team of experts working here at AWeber HQ, there’s another element that’s key to our success: Our passion to drive and deliver results.

Once we commit to a project that allows us better help customers, our team is quick to plan and execute with passion.

After all, the more we can help our customers grow their businesses and provide value to their own customers, the more pumped we get about what we do. Heck, it’s the kind of stuff that drives us to work each day!

3 | Foster respect and cooperation.

At our core, AWeber is a family. A warm, fuzzy, 100-person (and growing!) family. But how does a big team feel like a family?

It’s all in our culture of respect and cooperation. It doesn’t come from policy, it comes from treating people like people – the way we all should be treated. Teams openly collaborate to solve problems and we work together to make sure our service is the best it can be.

Our totally open workspace helps the collaboration thrive. We’re not just the anti-cubicle office. We’re the anti-office-door office where everyone is accessible.

4 | Listen to what people say about us. Invite feedback.

You can’t run an AWesome, helpful company in a vacuum. That’s why feedback is so important to us, both internally and externally.

Throughout AWeber, every team has their own way of incorporating customer feedback on a daily basis – and that helps us decide what feature to focus on next or what email course we decide to offer.

We also believe that every team member’s opinion matters. That’s why we encourage everyone to share feedback and listen to suggestions from one another. Whether it’s to improve a project we’re working on or resolve an issue, we strive to maintain an open and honest environment.

And that probably has something to do with why we’re regularly named one of the best places to work in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania (now going onto our 6th year in a row!).

5 | Learn. Educate. Innovate.

We’re the ones who invented autoresponder emails, so we know all about innovation. As our CEO Tom Kulzer likes to say, “Dream big, fail fast and iterate on what works.”

Constant education is a big part of that. We encourage team members to keep learning by attending events and conferences or continuing formal education in their field.

We’re all about educating our customers, too. We want your email campaign to be the best it can be, because when your email succeeds, your business and community succeeds too. That’s why we regularly create educational content and host meetups to share our advice for email marketing strategy.

6 | Don't take ourselves too seriously. Have fun!

As serious as we are about helping you succeed with using email to grow your business, we strongly believe it’s all about loving what you do, and having fun while doing it.

So it’s only natural that we enjoy every minute working here.

Some days we kick it old school with pinball and arcade games. Other days we flaunt our athletic skills with a competitive game of ping pong or foosball. Or you’ll find us in the middle of a hardcore Nerf gun battle, or playing board games during one of our monthly Happy Hours.
