Justin Premick - November 21st, 2006Viral videos are watched by millions of people. While many are created purely for fun, interest in their use as a marketing tool is alive and growing.

Justin Premick - November 17th, 2006At AWeber we compile subscriber and message statistics into 19 reports that customers can view and download in their accounts.
Sometimes customers overlook the reports because they’re not sure how to use them to improve their campaigns.
Let’s take a look at an example of a report - in this case, the “Follow Up Status - Unsubscribed” one - and what we can glean from it.

Justin Premick - November 8th, 2006I brought up the topic of split testing a while back. However, I didn’t have a sample split test to refer you to at the time.

Tom Kulzer (AWeber CEO) - October 10th, 2006Recently reading one of my favorite marketing newsletters TalkBiz News written by Paul Myers I came across an amazing 100% increase in sales with one simple change in wording for an email campaign.

Tom Kulzer (AWeber CEO) - August 15th, 2005Are your newsletters generating the results you wish they were?
Missing just a few simple steps in the creation and sending process can have a significant impact upon overall response. Many AWeber customers utilize the extensive opt-in newsletter delivery tools to send periodic updates to subscribers who have requested that type of information.
Many businesses rely on statistics and real world results to drive business critical decisions. To aid customers in making important decisions about their newsletter delivery we have gathered summary results from thousands of AWeber customer newsletters over the past 30 days to help share what works and what doesn’t.

Tom Kulzer (AWeber CEO) - March 31st, 2004Results of a study conducted by AWeber identified that a verified opt-in AOL subscriber is significantly less likely to unsubscribe in the first 60 days of publication than a single opt-in subscriber.
Statistics were run on a random sampling of approximately 200 AWeber client opt-in email lists of AOL subscribers added in the past 60 days having received a similar volume of emails over that 60 day period. Each subscriber visited a client website and typed in their name and email address requesting to be added to their sales follow up process or newsletter. Since we also record and receive statistics from AOL’s “this is spam” button we included the percentage of those subscribers who also complained the messages they opted into were spam.
