We Are 44th Years Old

Everyone seems to be in an especially jovial mood today and if you walk the streets of Singapore, you'll see that a lot of people are anticipating the red and white colour combination in their clothes, which symbolizes our National Flag.

Today, Singaporeans are celebrating our 44^th Year National Day anniversary.

This day marks the gaining of Independence as an individual Nation on its own - a milestone for a country whose independence came unexpectedly in 1965.

Singapore has come a long way now, since many years ago... when it was just a small fishing village.

But now, we are standing alongside financial giants and we have gone on to become one of the richest countries in the world.

Here's the irony, we are so small that we don't have any natural resources of our own and I doubt you even know the exact location of Singapore in the world map. (Some said we are in China, some said we are somewhere near the India ocean...)

It's because of the uncertainty, the Singapore Government worked hard to innovate the society and this cause our economy to grow and improve constantly.

Even with a small population of just 4.4 million people, we consistently improve so as to build a global brand that we can be proud of.

Now size does not really matter to us anymore.

I can't imagine the outcome if leaders of Singapore were to acknowledge the country's limitation and not see beyond the barriers and obstacles that we are facing.

We'll probably still be a fishing village, probably with only a few advancements, like electricity.

Running your internet business is very similar to running a country. You need to see beyond your limitations and work against all odds for the possibility of a good outcome.

Sitting there behind your computer complaining how difficult things are isn't going to bring you the sale that you need.

There are a lot of things we can learn from Singapore's ever-growing economy. If we just follow in their footsteps, we can also achieve the same results in our internet marketing business.

Look at how we grow PSA from a small fishing port to become one of the busiest and most profitable ports in the world. How Singapore Airlines quickly bloomed into one of the best airline in the world and the way we invented the art of eating Chicken Rice.

Well, if you are starting out alone in internet marketing without any resources on hand, just leverage on the many products out there which have been proven to be really profitable.

You don't have to reinvent the wheels, just use a system that is proven to work.

In no time, you'll have the financial stability to invest in other forms of marketing to boost your sales.

And that is exactly how you can be just like Singapore, standing alongside internet marketing giants and make the same kind of money that they are making.

Just remember, to focus on what you want to achieve instead of what you've not yet achieve. And before you know it, you'll probably be the next "talk of the town".
