How Can I Let Subscribers Choose Their Message Frequency?
Sometimes, you may find that your subscribers are looking for more control in the way that you communicate with them. Offering your list a chance to receive messages from you more or less often is a great way to engage your active readers further and maybe even reconnect with subscribers who haven't been opening your messages lately.
Step By Step Instructions
-
Create a new list that you will send to at a different frequency (more or less often).
-
In your original list, create an automation rule to unsubscribe people from that list when they subscribe to the new one.
-
Next, you'll need to create a web form where people can join your new list. It would be a good idea to make sure that you highlight the fact that by filling out this form, they will be removed from the list they are currently on and added to a list with messages sent at a different frequency.
-
Now send a broadcast to a segment of your original list inviting your subscribers to change the frequency. Just include a link to the page where you added the form for your new list!
