How Can I Update Facebook When I Send a Broadcast?


You can have your broadcast messages posted to your Facebook profile by just following a few quick steps in your AWeber account.

Step By Step Instructions

  1. In your AWeber account, under the My Lists tab, choose List Settings.



    At the top, click the Personalize My List tab.

  2. Scroll down on the List Settings page to the Social Media / Sharing section, and click on the "Connect To A New Facebook Account" button.



    If you are not already logged into Facebook at this point, you will be taken to the login page. Just enter your information and click Login.
  3. Once logged in to Facebook, you will be asked to allow AWeber access to make these posts for you. Simply click "Allow" in the lower right.

  4. At this point, you will be taken back to your AWeber control panel. You can choose to have all your broadcasts posted to Facebook by default by scrolling back down to the Social Media / Sharing section and clicking the Make Default link.

  5. Now when you edit or create a broadcast message LINK, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page to edit your social media settings.

    If it is not checked by default, check the Enable Social Media / Sharing box.



    If you've set a Facebook account as the default for your list, you will see it appear in the area below, along with a preview of the post that will be made when the message is sent. If you would like to change which Facebook account the post will be made to (or don't want to post this message), just use the drop down menu.
