What Statistics Can I Track for My Opt In Form?

Within your control panel, you can track several metrics to determine how well individual forms are performing within your account.

You'll find these reported in two sections in your account: the Web Form area and the Reports area.

Web Form Area

If you go to the Web Form section of your control panel, you'll see a table with several columns, with some that report statistics about the effectiveness of each form.

If you hover your mouse pointer over the heading of each column, you'll find an explanation of those statistics. You'll also find the descriptions below about each:

Displays

The number of times this web form has been displayed to website visitors.

Submissions

Whenever someone clicks on the submit button of your opt in form, this number will increase for that particular form.  This will help you to review which forms are performing better than others at a quick glance.

Note that because this number is based on the submit button, it may therefore differ from what you see in the "Subscribers" section of your account.

Submissions Per Display (S/D)

The ratio of submissions divided by displays.  This shows your conversion rate.

Unique Displays (UD)

As opposed to a display, which is calculated every time the form is loaded, a unique display shows how many how many times the form has been shown to each person, recorded only once per person.

Submissions Per Unique Display (S/UD)

The ratio of submissions divided by unique displays.  This shows your conversion rate for unique displays only.

Reports Area

Ad Tracking

Under the Ad Tracking - Subscribed section of your reports, you'll find a table that shows how many times each time someone has subscribed with each ad tracking value attributed, both as a raw number and percentage of the whole.

This figure helps you to determine which forms are performing best on your site, and in order to use it, you will need to have set an ad tracking value for each form in the campaign you are working in.
