Can I Merge/Combine My Lists?
There is not a merge lists function in AWeber. Each list is kept separate from the others in your account.
Why Can't I Merge My Lists?
Whenever a subscriber signs up to receive information from you, we create an audit trail for that subscriber. This is done to provide the best possible deliverability for your messages to that subscriber, and to all of your subscribers.
Part of that audit trail has to do with what information someone is requesting. Opt-in requests are specific - people want a given set of information at a given time.
Merging lists would impede our ability to reliably provide that audit trail to ISPs and get your email delivered.
It would also open up the potential for abusive merging (combining subscribers who haven't asked for the same thing in many cases violates the agreement you have with them to provide a specific set of information in exchange for their permission to email them).
Since any sort of abusive behavior can negatively affect the deliverability of all users, we simply do not permit lists to be merged.
Alternatives to Merging Lists
In some cases, there are compelling reasons to send messages to more than one email campaign. You can do this without merging the list by using the Include feature. If someone is subscribed to more than one of your lists, they will still receive only one copy of the message.
If you would like to duplicate a set of follow up messages so that two or more of your campaigns have the same set, you can use the Campaign Sharing feature to synchronize them.
