Join Markus Allen and Justin For a Discussion of Email Marketing
by Justin Premick on July 16th, 2008One of the most common “snags” many people have when creating email marketing campaigns is creating effective messages. They aren’t sure where to get content, or how to put their message together in a way that gets results.
At noon tomorrow (July 17, 2008) I’ll be joining Markus Allen for a “Stump Markus” teleseminar on email marketing.
We’ll discuss how to craft profitable, response-pulling campaigns — even if you’re not a “copywriting whiz.”
To join us for this free call, tomorrow at 12PM EDT call:
(724) 444-7444
at the prompt, enter call ID 17477.
You can also get the details on Markus’ show here.
See you there!
Comments: 3Podcast Interview: Talking Email and Affiliate Marketing
by Justin Premick on March 14th, 2008Recently I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with AWeber user and affiliate marketer Andrew Wee at the Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas.
Andrew asked me to join him on his podcast to discuss AWeber and more affiliate email marketing ideas.
So this week, we chatted for an hour or so about email marketing, deliverability and how affiliate marketers can incorporate email into their marketing mix.
The audio from our discussion is now live on his site.

by Justin Premick on February 28th, 2008Just got back from Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas.
It was a great event, from all of the affiliate marketers and AWeber users we met to the keynote by Jason Calacanis about the need for affiliates to create additional value for visitors instead of simply replicating company-provided sites and resources.
I didn’t hear as much talk as I’d like about how affiliates can more successfully market by email. So let’s talk about it here!

This is the third post in a series on using an email marketing calendar to manage your campaigns more efficiently. You may want to read Why You Need an Email Marketing Calendar and Planning your Email Marketing Calendar before continuing.
My two previous posts have focused on planning your campaigns in advance to improve their quality, consistency and cohesiveness.
Of course, picking out dates to send campaigns might seem pointless if you don’t have any idea what your emails are going to be about!
So today, let’s get into some email content ideas.

by Marc Kline on November 23rd, 2007
You’ve stuck to a regular schedule for posting to your blog or writing email messages. People have come to depend on your wise words of worthwhile advice and information.
You don’t want to let them down and risk the growth of your readership and business!
Despite this pressure, or sometimes because of it, we’re all liable at one time or another to sit down at our desks, open a new message or post, crack our fingers, rest them on the keys, then … nothing. We draw a blank.
How frustrating! Fortunately, we have options.

by Justin Premick on November 16th, 2007
According to the National Retail Foundation, holiday shopping for this year is set to increase, but only by a modest 4%. Just about every other report or story I’ve read about this holiday season has suggested it won’t be a good one.
As other direct and indirect competitors vie for your subscribers’ pocketbooks, how are you going to make sure your business isn’t left holding a lump of coal?

by Justin Premick on September 11th, 2007Plucked this gem out of my subscriptions recently: Tell Customers What They Are Missing.
Strictly speaking, the article talks about selling a product and explaining the benefits of that product, but I see at least two instances where being specific leads to better email marketing:
