  1. I like the idea of templates with landscapes, and with artistic drawings.

  3. Hi. I particularly adore the ebook html templates

Could we use our eBook cover in the web form itself?

  5. I love using HTML templates.

There’s a glitch I’ve noticed, when I create the templates and test them in outlook, yahoo mail or hotmail, they look perfect.

On occasion, this same template will look horrible in gmail. Any recommendations?

    Thanks!!

  6. How about one for cooking or recipes.
    Another one for photography.

This could work out well for a sales tool as well as an added attraction for potential clients.

  9. Congrats on these new designs. It’s great that you are paying attention to keeping the look fresh.

I’d like to request more "simple" designs. These, like most of your templates, are far too designed for use by most professional small businesses.

How about more templates with simple white backgrounds? Just elegant, simple borders with a nice place for us to easily insert our logos?

Colored backgrounds and lots of images distract from the marketing messages that I use Aweber to send. Most small businesses have their own logos and product pics ready but templates like these make it hard to deploy them.

Less would be more, at least for me and most of my small business coaching clients to whom I recommend Aweber daily.

  12. Thanks everyone for your feedback!

    Codrut,

Yes, you can insert an image of your ebook into your web form headline or footer.

    Michelle,

We test the templates in a wide variety of email clients to ensure they display properly; however, it’s possible to add in content that does not display consistently across those programs (this is a risk particularly when you are pasting in content from a program like Word, rather than typing/entering it directly in the message editor).

I recommend you test periodically when creating your message, and if you find a change caused rendering issues, roll back to a previous draft of that message and try again.

    Travis,

I’m curious: what would a template for a blogger look like? Blogs exist about numerous topics – photography, personal finance, interior design, scrapbooking, weight loss… what sort of blog-specific template would be best for all/many of those?

  13. I do not agree with Scott from Internet Riches.
    The statement:
"I?d like to request more "simple" designs. These, like most of your templates, are far too designed for use by most professional small businesses".

What does he mean "far too designed"? Previously, opt-in forms were so boring. The templates that AWeber offers are fresh and very appealing. Every template offered has different color choices, making it easy to find one that compliments the look of the website.

    The statement:
"Colored backgrounds and lots of images distract from the marketing messages that I use Aweber to send. Most small businesses have their own logos and product pics ready but templates like these make it hard to deploy them".

Colored backgrounds and images do Not distract from marketing messages if the template is chosen correctly to compliment the site.

"Most small businesses have their own logos……" It looks like you are speaking for "most small businesses" when you really are not. There are thousands of small businesses out there, and no one should make a general statement like that. We all have our personal opinions–which is great–but we really can’t speak for other people.

AWeber does offer some "simple" and elegant templates. With the large selection of templates and color options available, there should be something for everyone.

Even with that being said, AWeber welcomes any suggestions for template design and they will be considered. They are adding more all the time.

  14. I like the seasonal templates…that really keeps my messages FRESH (and au natural!)

    3/3/2010 3:50 pm
  15. I publish a weekly comedy themed newsletter with comic interviews, pictures and bios of headliners and run a Meetup group. I could certainly use something that is stand up comedy or performance related.

    Thank you!

  17. This is really great news and what perfect timing! I’m going to be offering a free short report for those who sign-up to my list and I’m also finishing up my 1st info. product so the ebook template arrived just in time. Thanks!

  18. Hi, I think your templates are great. I would like to see something a little calming like an ocean front view or something with crystal blue water. I love the ocean and lake front views. Keep up the good work!! thanks!!

  19. Those webforms look pretty good… The idea of industry and niche specific capture forms is a hot one.

Not so sure that html templates are that difficult to find.

But not having to look is a good thing.

  20. I love your new e-book templates. Have inspired me to put the articles into e-books.

    thanks

  21. Thank you for your work, I agree with Scott (above) – I would love to see more options that are simple and easy to insert our own logos. I get stuck with the "Big Foot" option, it would be nice to have others.

    Thanks

  22. Thanks for these new templates.

I do have a question. I tried using a template that would take my RSS feed from my blog an automatically create a template. It brings in the RSS feed nicely but there seems to be a sidebar column and I have no idea how to fill that in. It seems to show prior blog postings but nothing brought in automatically though it is part of my RSS feed.

Any education or hints on that would be helpful

Also, I used one of your ‘ebook’ webforms but put in my own picture of my report instead of your book. My request is to help us make it easier to insert our own ‘ebook’ or ‘report’ could you put a comment at the beginning and end of the graphic that you use..like insert ebook picture here..so it would be easier for us to customize it.

    Thanks

    3/4/2010 11:53 am
  23. Adele, the sidebar that is empty, is for putting widgets, or ads.
There is probably a place to disable it in your blog control panel if you prefer not to have it visible.

Other than that, there are some great plugins/widgets you can use to rotate ads
    like datafeedr

you can even get a widget that displays your local weather.

just a couple of ideas to fill the white space.

  24. Love the new templates! Any chance a cigar theme and a lingerie theme might be forthcoming?

Thanks again, you guys are great!

    3/8/2010 7:45 pm
  25. Thanks for the post and helpful info. In fact, we were just looking for new template providers. I really appreciate the fact that you aimed for consistency in design, style and usage. In today’s economy filled with ample brands to select, consumers need to be able to identify with a brand and easily recognize it in a room full of others. Even landing pages driven by email marketing should incorporate the same design elements.

  26. Love the new templates. This is why Aweber is #1. Keep em coming!

  28. Joany

How about a template for those of us who are interested in alternative health products? Pictures related to “zen” or healing tools such as: hot rocks, flowers, bamboo, candles, incense burners, healing bells or bowls, water (such as streams, waterfalls, ponds, lakes, rivers) and other things one might encounter in a beautiful outdoor setting or in a fabulous health spa.
Thanks for letting me share my ideas.

    3/22/2010 3:37 pm
  29. Do you have a gallery where ALL of your existing templates are available to view?
Im trying to find a good hover design… but they are too small in the preview to tell – without going into every one… thanks.

    4/10/2010 1:34 am
  30. It would be great if we could use our own graphic for the cover of the ebook in your ebook templates.

    4/14/2010 11:19 pm
  31. How about a template for Health & Fitness?

    5/1/2010 5:22 pm
  32. I went to have a look at your templates, but found that the images you present were too small to be useful. From the general layout, they look very good and I wanted to browse them in more detail, but couldn’t find a link that would take me to a place where I could view larger images.

    Hope this helps.

    5/28/2010 9:20 am
  33. I actually have 2 Baby blogs…..how about a template related to babies, like baby rattles, baby feet, Humpty Dumpty…something that could be like a background print and have different color choices (pastel, brights)?

    5/28/2010 4:33 pm
  34. Kay

How about template options for childcare professionals and parents?

Great selection of templates for most businesses!

  35. Can you give some more chices in their specic segments like technology, Industry, Software etc. waiting for a response

    10/17/2010 10:35 am
  36. I miss the old forms. These are pretty but hell to modify if they don’t fit your design. Why can’t we have a “plain” HTML form option that we can style ourselves.

    1/15/2011 10:16 pm
  37. I like the ebook templates,it’s so cool and professional looking.

    2/4/2011 5:01 am
  38. It’s great. I like the ebook templates.

    4/6/2011 3:36 am
  39. It’s more classy and catchy to see ebook templates in pairs. I love to have some of those. Business should be in style. I’m sure many would want to use these pairs.

    5/24/2011 1:52 am
  40. I’ve been looking for information about how to put the name of my own Ebook onto the Ebook template, also information about how to customize the followup message templates. Where can I find all that?
Also, I would love some nature, artistic, and elegant templates, less cartoon-like, and agree with the comments about more templates which are simpler, less columns and pre-set boxes. I think you guys should add lots and lots of new templates, as the selection is very limited, and hasn’t changed much in quite some time.
