Bear with us, our whole team is here working dilligently to get it up. Thanks, Tom]

During this time the customer and affiliate control panel areas of the website will be unavailable for login. All other aspects of the website should continue to function normally such as, new subscriber opt-ins, open rate tracking, click tracking links, unsubscribe requests, etc. Please plan your campaigns accordingly.
Thank you for your patience during this time period. I believe you’ll enjoy the extensive enhancements we’ll be putting in place.

Hang in there Ian,
I have been with Aweber for over a year and have not had any trouble with downtime so hopefully it will be back to normal after this.
Unfortunately for me they are down right when I need them, I wish they would post another update so I will have something to tell my client.

It’s not clear to me why you’d do an upgrade at 5 AM EST on a Wednesday. I wasn’t able to access the system until 2 PM EST. Upgrades like that should be done overnight, preferably on the weekend. I called support and they said you were testing the upgrades. Testing? That’s probably not the right time for "testing." If you can’t be back online by 7 AM or so, then you should have rolled back to the previous version.
Lots of folks send out daily broadcasts each morning and having the email provider out of commission during the week is no good.
Hopefully you learned something from this and will do things better next time.

Mike,
There were a number of technical and logistical reasons why it needed to be done during the week day. The usage of the word "testing" by our support team was inaccurate in describing what was being done by our technical team in rolling out the new interface. The changes being rolled live encompassed much more than just a little design tweak. Most of which is currently invisible to customers but will become more apparent as additional new features are rolled out this year. Those changes took longer than planned and for that I do greatly apologize.
