Mapping & Geographic Data Released.
Posted by Tom Kulzer (AWeber CEO)The internet is a global medium with visitors and subscribers requesting information 24 hours per day from all over the world.
Previously the only way you could know where a subscriber was located was directly asking them in your form leading to a lower opt-in conversion rate.
AWeber is now able to approximate the location of subscriber sign ups based on the IP address and the ISP they use to request
the information.
Geographic data is included for known IP addresses including:
- Country
- State/Region
- City
- Zip Code/Postal Code
- Latitude & Longitude
- Area Code
- DMA Code
Within the customer search leads interface, when an individual subscriber is displayed or a group of subscribers is displayed a mapping link is included that will plot subscribers based on their geographic data.
