I’d like to see:

1) Coupon templates for special offers
2) Event invitations (Constant Contact offers these)
3) Survey templates (Constant Contact offers these)
4) Paypal-ready templates (i.e, a template that lets you advertise a limited number of products or services, and lets clients click a buy now button that takes them to your order page.)
5) Video-ready templates (plug-n-play your video message into the templates)

Template for Podcasts

Oh, Please, Please with peanut butter and jelly on it…my kingdom for a Podcast Template.

Hundreds of sites on "how to" make a podcast but I’ve found nothing that offers the creativity, functionality and completeness of the "Welcome Message" template for Podcasts.
I do agree with Jorge’s 2 cents worth regarding "simplicity".

I think the "Download" template could be modified for this but I like your suggestions made below:
This template might incorporate a mock player for click through, a place to summarize recent podcasts, and/or a recommended set up to display the transcript for your latest podcast.

my 2 cents…

html email are ok, but if possible without images… many people have the images off.

just use imagination and style, not much fonts in text, 2 maxi.

Dont use fonts than people have not in their computers.

Elegant email, without addictions is great and that is what i read.

i know that is difficult to make simple, but when you get it you can duplicate

Take care how you write, elegant writing is so important than elegant style.

just think… what email i love and wish receive…
