Peter ~ Yes, you can edit the form at any time.

If you're using the Javascript snippet, your changes will automatically update. If you're using the raw HTML, you'll have to replace the code with the updated version after saving changes in your account.

My first form after joining AWeber :-) quite a while ago

After I have seen how it looks "live" on my website, I believe I can edit the form if I do not like how it looks?

Do I have to create a new form from Step 1? or can I just open up the particular 'step' in the process and do the revisions and then 'save changes'.

I am not sure where on your site does it specifically say that I can just open up the form generator at any step and (for example) head straight for the templates etc

The dropdown with the required fields indicator seems not to work correctly together.

Reason is that when i have a required field then the first item in the dropdown list is selected, so there is no ability to force the user to select an item here as it's already automatically chosen.

This means that users will NOT correctly be forced to select this field!

How can we work around this type of problem?

Any ideas anyone?

I know this is a really old post but could you possibly create a post showing us how to modify the layout on pop-ups and hovers? It would be really cool to be able to do a little more html editing, inserting pictures, changing the lenght of the "name" and "email" field etc.

I know all of this is possible when using the html code for the form but when we're talking pop-ups and hovers it is stated that we'll need to use the javascript in order for it to work (which then leaves out a lot of the editing option).

Thank you in advance.

Well Done! Thank you so much for your wonderful instructional video regarding forms. I actually applauded when it was finished.

I was dreading tackling this task and you've made it so simple. You guys are the best!

Jenna,

Yes, you can add that asterisk into the field labels while setting up your form. Simply click on the field you want to edit, then make your changes in the text box that appears at left.

Is there a way to indicate to the prospect which fields are mandatory for the web form (maybe an asterisk or something)?

Mike,

If you already have fields created, they'll be available on the left side of the page, where you can drag-and-drop them into your form.

Sounds great - especially the different types of forms you can create (I particularly liked the "slide in".

What about accessing fields that have already been entered though - how do you access them?
