Comments: Comments OffSystem Maintenance Friday at Midnight
by Marc Kline on April 23rd, 2008![]()
This Friday, April 25th beginning at Midnight ET, our internet service provider will be conducting maintenance work.
The website will not be available during a period of up to 1.5 hours. It has been indicated to us that it will likely take less time than this, but any work or activity in or from an account set for this time should be rescheduled.
In our history, this is the first time we’ve received notice of such necessary downtime, so future downtime for this reason seems very unlikely.
Thanks for your patience, and for choosing AWeber!

by Justin Premick on February 28th, 2008Many of our customers come to AWeber for fast, reliable service and powerful email marketing features like the enhancements made to our Blog Broadcaster in recent weeks.
The flipside of making AWeber do more for you — and faster — as we grow is the need to perform upgrades and system maintenance from time to time.
Comments: 9Upcoming System Maintenance This Weekend
by Justin Premick on February 1st, 2008
AWeber’s development team will be performing scheduled system maintenance this weekend from:
Saturday, February 2nd, 11:00PM EST - Sunday, February 3rd, 7:00AM EST
During this time, the AWeber Customer Control Panel will be inaccessible.
Planned maintenance sessions like this help us avoid unplanned ones down the road and continue to deliver the fast, reliable system that our users have come to expect from us over the past 9+ years.
During this time, you’ll still be able to access the parts of the site that you don’t have to login to get to (such as our blog, Knowledge Base and videos).
Anyone who signs up to your list during this time will be collected and stored in AWeber, but they won’t be added to your list until we bring the control panel back up. This helps ensure that nothing we do during maintenance inadvertently causes you to lose any subscriber data.
If you have any questions, just get in touch with our Customer Solutions Team and we’ll be happy to help.
Thanks for your patience, and for choosing AWeber!
UPDATE: As a couple of you noted, we ran a bit over the 7:00AM time originally planned for maintenance. Some of the maintenance steps took more time than anticipated.
We brought the control panel back up as quickly as possible, which was at 9:15AM. On behalf of everyone here at AWeber, I’m sorry for the delay.

by Justin Premick on December 10th, 2007Let’s keep it light for Monday…
Mark Brownlow put up a quick list of what Santa’s life would be like as an email marketer.
My favorite: “Nor would he get many people reporting his gifts as unwanted (even though some of them are) and opting-out of future deliveries.”
Can you think of any additions to it? What would you add?

by Justin Premick on November 20th, 2007
On Thursday, November 22, we’ll be eating turkey, seeing family, watching football, and generally enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday.
Our offices will be closed, but rest easy — the servers are still coming to work Thursday. We’ll be keeping an eye on them to make sure they don’t try to take the day off, too
We’ll be back in the office at 8:00AM on Friday, November 23, so if you have any questions on Thursday shoot us an email and we’ll get back to you then.
Happy Thanksgiving!

But it’s even more fun to see them talking about it.
Just yesterday we came across this video of AWeber user Lindsey Harper, sharing her experience growing a business online using AWeber and pay-per-click advertising.
Thanks, Lindsey! We’re glad to hear about your success.
