Why Email Marketers Heart AWeber (& You Will Too)
Recently we asked users to submit videos of how they use AWeber to run their
email marketing campaigns.
The response was extraordinary. There were videos for just about every industry imaginable, from non-profits to e-courses and everything in between.
We decided to edit a few together into a video showcasing the unique personalities of our amazing customers.

A Sneak Peak at Broadcast QuickStats
For the longest time in the history of forever, email analytics has been an all or nothing affair. You’re either tracking your email marketing campaigns or you’re not.
The problem: there is a ton of data that gets tracked and sifting through it all can be overwhelming. It’s like trying to find a back issue of Field & Stream in the Library of Congress. You’re better off going to your local library where they only carry the stuff that’s relevant to you.
We took that terrible analogy and applied it to AWeber’s Email Analytics. As a supplement to our full reports page, in the near future we’re rolling out Broadcast QuickStats. You’ll be able to view the most pertinent statistics for your messages grouped together on one super slick page.
Click that big grey play button in the video below to check out our design and development teams as they discuss both building QuickStats, and what it will do for you.
Broadcast QuickStats makes it easier than ever for you to not only see how your emails perform, but also identify responsive and non-responsive subscribers, and quickly segment those groups and deliver relevant, targeted email marketing campaigns to them.

Tell Us Why You Heart AWeber
Whenever we publish videos, it’s usually us talking to you about what we do. A little while ago we were thinking, what if we reversed that? What if we gave you the chance to tell us what you do and how you use AWeber to make it better? Well, here’s your chance.
This is what we’re looking for: a short video of you, in your work environment, talking about what you do and why you use AWeber. We’ll highlight the ones that really stand out on our official blog. You’ll not only get exposure to our 80,000+ clients, but we’ll send you some cool AWeber swag to boot!
As for specifics, your video should include:

- Your name
- What you use AWeber for (whether you use us in your business, as a hobby, or maybe for an organization you work with)
- How long you’ve been a customer
- How many subscribers you’re engaging with
- What it is about AWeber that helps you
- The impact using AWeber has had on your business (percent of traffic increase, increased sales, more loyal customers, etc.)
So fire up your webcam and give it a shot. We’re not looking for a James Cameron joint, just something honest. Point and shoot – there’s no need to get fancy with the editing unless you want to.
Post your video to YouTube (here’s a step-by-step guide if you’ve never done it before) and title it “We Heart AWeber.”
A couple of things to remember to make your video as awesome as possible:
- Make sure we can hear you! (Try to make sure that there isn’t too much background noise; making sure we can hear you doesn’t mean just talking loudly!)
- Make sure your location is well lit, so we can see you.
- Be yourself! Relax and just tell us about your business and how AWeber helps you.

30 Chefs, 3 Days, 1 Winner: Fall Potluck/Contest

We try to foster a sense of community here at AWeber, be it through friendly video game rivalries or joshing about Bob and Eric’s excessive decorating. Our bonding and socializing can lead to the discovery of common interests, as evidenced by this conversation, which may or may not have occurred at some point in AWeber history:
“Hey, office pal, do you like to cook?
“Yes.”
“Wow!”
This startling revelation inspired us to organize a company event in order to showcase the vast culinary talent we have on staff. A “put your food where your mouth is” scenario, if you will. Those of you more familiar with email marketing may be familiar with the technical term “potluck.” We decided to document the event, because everyone likes food.
(Mary actually won an American Express gift certificate for her fantastic dish, but we thought Fitzgerald’s roman à clef might help to class up the video a bit).
