Check Out These Ways to Grow Your Blog
Quick post today for those of you who are running blogs yourselves.
(Not yet using a blog to grow your business? Learn more about how blogging and email marketing go hand-in-hand with a blog newsletter.)
Today I came across a list of 16 ways to expand your blog’s reach.
I’m particularly fond of strategy #6: Establish an Email Newsletter:
Newsletters are great for monetization and are an easy way to keep certain readers (those not familiar with RSS) close to your weblog. When combined with landing pages, they work better alongside PPC advertising when it comes to capturing leads.
but the author lists plenty of other good ideas, too. Definitely worth a read.

Great post. We have just started blog marketing, and currently spend quite a bit of time sorting through all the interlinking and traffic building methods.

This is the method solely responcible for my success in 2007 and I anticipate 2008 to be a lot better!
Unfortunately blogging overlooked or under-used by too many marketers. Blogs often taken as extension of the email marketing when it should be an ADDITION that enhances email marketing and then you start reaching real success.

Thanks for the tips – I definitely have found that my list growth is accelerated by having both my Sales Divas e-zine and blog.
I am also in the process of adding my e-zine as a podcast to itumes – so that is another way to grow your list.

Great post!
I’ve started using Tip #10 in the last couple of weeks and it seems to allow others to share their experiences instead of me spewing all the time.
There are a couple of tips I never thought of, but rest assured I’m going to employ them now.
Thanks you all!
