Tom Kulzer (AWeber CEO) - January 18th, 2005The internet is a global medium with visitors and subscribers requesting information 24 hours per day from all over the world.
Previously the only way you could know where a subscriber was located was directly asking them in your form leading to a lower opt-in conversion rate.
AWeber is now able to approximate the location of subscriber sign ups based on the IP address and the ISP they use to request
the information.
