Since opening, I have never had a sale. The clients who did business with KGS Bikes did so because of expertise, service or other things than a cheaper price and felt the value was worth it.
This morning, I was thinking about the dynamics of selling bikes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Most people forgo big purchases until about January 15th and for custom bikes, that is tough because of the lead times involved. I have come up with an idea that I think will help folks, especially those from out of town, take advantage of the real benefits of custom and do so in a way that is cost effective too. Here are the details:
What this does, is allow you to commit to a bike that will really help you for years to come. The discount will cover a large portion of travel expenses to San Antonio even if you live far away. Most folks arrange to fly in early, I pick them up at the airport, and then take them back to the airport later in the day. One day in my studio can allow you to get the ultimate in custom bicycle design; this bike will serve you for many years with incredible comfort and fun.
